Background Information
Itsumo’s Childhood. 177AN-187AN
Itsumo was born in the year 177an in the village of Konohagakure in the height of the Shinobi war. Her parents were young shinobi both of the Yamanaka clan and with a new daughter in the height of a village that was part of a war they retired to raise their daughter. The got worse in the following years and in 180 when their daughter was three years old they would take her and leave the village looking for refuge and a safe haven away from the war with other parts of their family. That place was the a village in the land of tea not far from the land of fire but far enough away that the war had not found them. The village was known as Yonshiakure. Those of the Yamanaka Clan who had come with them build a compound on the outskirts of the village of Yonshigakure. Those Clan members would name her father the new Clan leader for them in this village. Itsumo would be his first born daughter and the only female yamanaka child to be with them. Itsumo grew up with a happy normal childhood as an only child until she was five years old when her sister Mizuki was born in 182. Itsumo would be put into the Shinobi Academy in Yonshigakure that same year. In the Academy Itsumo would keep to herself only associating herself with the other Yamanaka children in the village and those that she knew because her parents had made her socialize with them, Those being children from the Akamachi and Nara clans that had also come to Yonshigakure fleeing the village of Konohagakure. When she was home Itsumo would start to train with her father to make herself stronger she wanted to impress him and show him how much she was learning but with Mizuki being little his attention was on her so she pushed herself harder in school and at home to keep making him proud. She rose up quickly becoming one of the top students in her academy class but according to her teacher she was Antisocial and didn’t work well with others unless she had to or unless she wanted to. She would sit outside and watch the others train and play learning how they moved. She would push herself to read and study and learn about different clans,Village,The war and everything else she could while she was at school. However when she got home her father would make her train in learning how to control her Chakra and about her own clan history and their control over spiritual energy. He started to teach her slowly their clan jutsu in theory and by the time she was 8 her father made sure she could do the simplest of clan jutsu. Itsumo didn’t mind the intense training that her father put her through it made her get his attention and that made her feel he was proud of her. At school she excelled in Genjutsu and hand seals because of her fathers extra training. She was the yongest in her class when the graduation exams came around she took them in 187 and became a Genin at the age of 10. She was put onto a squad with Nobu Akamachi someone she had known since he had moved to the village and Kaito Kaminari a shinobi she didn’t know vary well but she would get to know vary well in the coming years. Their Sensei was Omorochi Tensai one of the Strictest Shinobi in the village.
Lessons in Knowledge and Pain. Age 10-12 187AN-189AN
Itsumo and the others would be in for a world of pain on their first day of practice as squad 5 Omorochi would beat the three genin with booken teaching them that a weak body would get them nowhere in life and they needed to make their bodies as strong as their minds. He would make them train untill their chakra levels were low and they would be ready to drop. Itsumo however was used to her father pushing her so she had no problems with Omorochi’s methods. Itsumo would focus on her training and would get more training with her father when she was not on missions she would train with him,her little sister and her cousins inside the yamanaka compound. After her first year as a genin Itsumo was Stronger than she could have imagined. In 188 the great Shinobi war ended with the destruction of Konohagakure and though it saddened her that the village she was born in was destroyed Itsumo had no ties to that village and moved forward unlike some of the others whom took it hard. Itsumo didn’t have time for the distractions that she had to keep making her father and clan proud. She had it burnt into her head that this was her village her home she must protect it with her life. Itsumo however would learn a hard lesson from her father. At the age of 11 in 188 shortly after the war ended Itsumo would be coming home from a Mission her body covered in thick sticky mud after Kaito didn’t catch her body and it ended up in a puddle. She returned to the compound wanting nothing more then to take a shower and rest her body after the long mission before training with her father and little sister her father however would hear nothing of it. When Itsumo would turn to walk away he would throw a kunai from short range hitting her in the right shoulder. Itsy was furious and in pain but she would push through the pain and tiredness and train with her father getting mud and blood all over the Yamanaka Compound training room. Two hours later when she went to see her aunt who was a Yonshigakure Medical ninja she had already lost a lot of blood and her aunt was angry with her. She told her to rest and not use her arm for week or two but Itsumo wouldn’t listen and within two days would leave with her team on a new mission. The Injury left a scar and a reminder that she had to work hard and that her loyalty was not to herself but to her village and family above all else. At the age of twelve in the year 189 Itsumo would travel with the rest of Squad 5 to take the chunin exams still in the land of tea but further north in a field known as the field of death. Her team was focused and though Itsumo ohad her mind set on winning she still managed to have fun with her teammates. This was the first time she could truly say she had a connection or a bond with someone outside of her family. The two teammates she knew inside and out, having been inside their minds and having been stuck with them for three years. She learned to put up with their habits and they didn’t judge her no matter what. Itsumo and her team would easily get past the first round of the exams the written exam it was easily a mental test and was not very challenging for the young yamanaka and the other two passed with ease. The second round was more challenging and Itsumo body took major damage from kaito attacking the jounin while her mind transfer was active and both Nobu and Kaito took damage, however they managed to take down the Jounin and pass the second round. They took time to recover before the Third round started and this was the 1v1 fights. Itsumo knew thi would be difficult for her but she also looked forward to it. She watched as Nobu won his first fight then Kaito one his and when it was her turn to fight she was up against Soudi namikaze. The girl was strong and didn't give up but Itsumo came out the winner and made it to the second round of fights without injury. The second round of fights started and she was torn when Kaito went up against someone she had thought was cute once upon a time, however Itsumo was happy when Kaito came out the winner Nobu also won his second round and Itsumo hers. In the third round she would be put up against Kaito and this hurt her but in the end she won and went on to face Nobu for the finals. They would both fight until they were about to drop when the fight was ended with no winner. There team passed and they were made Chunin.
12-16 Life isn’t fair-Chunin 189AN-193AN
Itsumo would be happy that she passed the chunin exams and would train more to keep herself happy for the first year after becoming a chunin she would help out with the Academy this made her little sister so happy. Mizuki had not seen much of Itsumo with them being five years apart. With her sister and the others she was soft and kind hearted she treated them with kindness unlike how she had been trained but when they saw her fight it was the complet opposit she had a sense of killer insticts when it came to protecting the village and she earned the nickname Panda due to her protective nature for her home. The name stuck and soon everyone from the village knew her as the panda ninja. When she turned 14 she was given a special Sensei his name was Kinta he was the head of the Yonshigakure Hunter Ninja Corp. Itsumo had shown skill and he had taken interest in her. Soon she was traveling with him and she started to dress in white and black instead of just black taking on the role of a panda. She was away from the village more and her sister and her grew apart once more with her never around. Itsumo was happy training with her Sensei and though she was only a chunin traveling with a Hunter Ninja Squad she was happy and learned fast. It was two years before Itsumo returned to the village and she had grown up a lot in that time. Now 15 Itsumo was a young lady her blonde hair had grown paler from being in the shadows and her blue eyes were paler almost ice like. Upon returning to the village Itsumo would return to her family compound only to find her father very ill and on his death bed. This struck Itsumo hard she would kneel by his side and stay with him over the next few days. Kinta would stop by and check on her but never once took her from her father. Days passed and her father grew worse it was a week after she returned when she was kneeling next to her father he spoke to her in a soft tone. “Itsumo you will be the next to take my place. You are my daughter never forget where your loyalties lie or where your focus should be. You are the future of our clan. Continue to make me proud no leave me.” Itsumo would rise and leave the room her father words not leaving her mind and with in the night her father had passed away. Itsumo would now be the head of her clan in Yonshigakure and her mind was fuzzy she had to much on her plate now and she was training to be a Hunter Ninja her place couldn’t be in the village but she had to work hard. She spoke with Kinta and he only nodded he took something out of his bag and handed it to her. It was a mask it was white with two black patches of mesh over the eyes. that could be seen out of but not into. The nose part was paited black and she knew right away what it was,it was a panda mask. She was still only a Chunin with much to learn still but she kept working hard staying behind in the village and training once more helping with the Academy however her bond with her sister never healed. Itsumo would pus her sister to be stronger but Mizuki only looked at her with anger. Itsumo didn’t understand why but she worked past it and at the age of 16 in the year of 193 Itsumo would be given the rank of Jounin.
16-22 The Panda Hunter 193AN-299AN
Itsumo was a Jounin and a restless one she had spend her time as a chunin traveling with the Hunter Nin corp and it bothered her being stuck in the village. However she had her clan and family to think of. She didn’t take on a squad because she didn’t want to train anyone and she didn’t even have the thought of marrying anyone in her mind though her mother brought it up many times. However Itsumo brushed it off. She kept training and after a year she could no longer stand being cooped up in the village. She pushed herself and one day when searching her father's study she came acrossed scrolls that he had brought from Konohagakure with him one of them was a Jutsu that had long been forgotten. She would work hard over the next year pushing herself to learn this jutsu taking the time to make a doll that looked like a panda. By the time she was 18 she was the only known user of this Technique since Fu Yamanaka many years ago. Once again Itsumo was restless now with nothing else to do she had to keep moving. Itsumo passed the Clan Leader position temporarily to her cousin having told him when Mizuki is old enough she would get the role but Mizuki was only a genin she was not ready yet. Itsumo would seek out the Kage and ask him to join the Hunter Ninja Corp. Itsumo having trained under Kinta was told she could but she would have to wait for their return. Itsumo knew that Kinta and the others went out for long periods of time and three months later when they finally returned with her panda mask in hand she went to join Kinta and the other Hunter Ninja at the age of 18. It was the year 195 Itsumo left with Kinta and the other Hunter Ninja she was fast and helped them greatly with the technique she had learned she was able to help out in many different ways. It was not long before Kinta had Itsumo running her own team in the Hunter Nin-Corp. Itsumo had no issues with any mission and was happy doing her job. Taking out Rouge shinobi and helping protect her village and its secrets. She did this for quite a few years however she never knew what would happen when she returned to the village in 199 what she would find.
22-23 Betrayal 199-200
Itsumo and the Hunter corp had been away for over a year when they returned to the village in 199. It was news to Itsumo when she was told that the Third Shikage had passed away and that the new Shikage was none other than her best friend Nobu Akamachi. Itsumo and the hunter ninja corp would stay home for a Month the village adjusting the the new Shikage they stayed close incase any strange things occured it was in this time with Itsumo noticed Kaito being strange. Itsumo didn’t have time to report it before they were sent out again This time she was not only a hunter nin. Kinta had retired and had passed his role on to Itsumo she was now head of the Hunter Ninja Corp. Leading them out they would be gone for three mouths and on returning the the village Itsumo was summoned into Nobu’s office. It was not unusual for a Kage to request a meeting with the head of the Hunter corp but this one was personal and he wanted to talk to her. He started out friendly more so then normal and Itsumo knew something was wrong she could see it in his eyes. He then told her three Yonshigakure Shinobi that had gone Rouge. The first name Itsumo knew only because he had trained with Kaito as a chunin his name was Riku Ryu. However she never in a million years would have expected the next two names nobu said. Kaito Kaminari and Mizuki Yamanaka, Her former teammate and her little sister had gone Rouge. Itsumo was taken aback she felt like she had failed her father and her clan by letting her sister go rogue while she was away from the village. Itsumo would take a deep breath and then her and the other hunter Ninja would leave the village. Itsumo making a vow to herself that she would not return until they were dead.
Itsumo's Memories: Yonshigakure's War Backstory
The Fourth Shikage-Age 24 201 years:
After becoming Kage Itsumo decided to head out and look for something she had wanted to acquire for a very long time. Leaving her clone in the village she left in search of a Panda summon and was followed by Shikake. While on the Arc Itsumo and Shikake had a run in with Shinobi from Amegakure including their Kage, Kagato, and continued to the island together. After a few hiccups along the way they reached the island and Itsumo Acquired the female panda. Traveling back to Amegakure with the Shinobi of the village to get back faster Itsumo then left a note for the injured Kagato telling him that she would like to speak to him about an alliance between their villages during the chunin exams. (Summon Arc - 201) Itsumo and Shikake then returned to the village once back Itsumo went her separate way and discovered that two of her Jounin had gone missing. While on the Mission she discovered one of the seven swords of the Mist Kubikirbocho also known as the executioner blade but was unable to save the two Jounin Saito and Hinori from the shinobi whom captured them. Personality
Childhood:
Itsumo kept to herself though she was kind to those she did go around she did not go out of her way to make friends with anyone. When she got into the academy she was more social especially with those students of the clans that she had been exposed to like the Nara and Akamichi clans. She was focused on her studies and her training and didn’t have much time for a social or personal life as a child.
Genin:
As Itsumo became a genin she formed stronger bonds with her teammates and her Sensei she also became more withdrawn from other people. She was taught that love is pain by her father and grew vary protective over her team.
Chunin:
tsumo stayed back as a chunin to help at the Academy she was sweet and caring towards the children especially her little sister she was determined that they would not learn the life lessons the way she had been trained in them. When fighting however she was the complete opposite she was deadly and showed no mercy on anyone. However due to this skill of being able to not show mercy on anyone she was recruited by Kinta and started training under him as a Hunter-Ninja. Her personality changed again due to the constant traveling and the killing she witnessed. Being away from the village made her grow apart from her sister and she grew to not feel any emotion. When she finally returned to the village two years later she was a completely different person then when she left. After her father’s death she would start to once again to train her sister and the younger members of their clan but with no kindness only teaching them that life and love are pain in the same way her father had her.
Jounin and Hunter:
Itsumo was restless staying in the village she refused to take a team and had been so used to traveling that she couldn’t handle being stuck in the village. After a year as a Jounin she left with the hunter Ninja corp again. She traveled again and didn’t care whom she was told to kill she did it without thinking. When she returned to the village one day to find that her own sister and her former teammate had become Missing Ninja she was hurt but she hid the emotions and hunted them and when the time came she killed her sister without hesitation. When she returned to the village to find the Shikage and her close friend Nobu Akamichi being killed by a third Missing Ninja she was devastated and without thinking let her emotions take control and killed relentlessly when she finally calmed down she realized what was going on and that she was now the Shikage.
Shikage:
Itsumo has changed majorly over the years of her life and now she has time to look back on the events in her life her personality is changing always depending on how she feels at the time but her heart is cold still not allowing anyone in however this could change if someone was to finally get her to open up.
Behaviour:
Itsy is a well trained and duityful ninja though she has a playful and joking side when she is among friends she will switch in a moments notice into fuced and ready to kill. she is a hunter-nin so most of her time is spent hunting down Nin who have become Missing and when she is not she is fallowing her duities as head of the Yamanaka Clan in Yonshigakure and teaching the younger members the ways of the Yamanaka Clan. Itsy's beahvoir around guys is more standoffish she doesn't take well to being hit on at all due to her focus being on protecting her village and family.
