Kunisada: Forgotten Secrets - 10/26/16[]

KunisadaUchiha: -Kunisada sat on the edge of his bed as he was wearing his normal black pants and a black tank top with his Kusanagi and black metallic arm bracers lying next to him on the bed; he was also wearing his Akatsuki ring on his left thumb. His rebreather was lying on the bed next to his blade as he finished putting on his black shinobi sandals as he went through a mental list of what he needed to bring for his trip. After putting on his black sandals, he rose from his bed and walked over to his closet and opened the door open, reaching down to pick up a black backpack off of the ground before reaching back up to pull down a black shirt. After doing so, he exited his room and went over to the kitchen. He’d already placed an extra set of clothes in the backpack earlier that day, so he wouldn’t need to do so now. Once he was in the kitchen, he placed the shirt over his shoulder and placed the backpack on the countertop next to where he’d already placed some food and water bottles for the trip; with any luck, his trip wouldn’t take that long, so the food had little chance of going bad before he returned to Amegakure. After he placed the food and water bottles in his backpack, he closed the zipper to the compartment and picked up the backpack and walked back over to his bedroom, placing the backpack down next to his blade and rebreather as he went over the list in his head again. He looked over at his selection of clothing, noting that he’d chosen a more casual attire than he would normally bring for a trip out of the Village; ordinarily, he’d be wearing his black ANBU gear, but he felt for the trip he wouldn’t need to bring it. He walked over to the bed as he sat down on the edge of his bed again, tossing the black shirt onto the bed on his left side and picked up his arm bracers and began to put them on, each engraved with the kanji for ‘thunder’. Just because he wasn’t going to be leaving in his normal ANBU gear didn’t mean that he wasn’t leaving without some weapons at his disposal; after all, he was still leaving Amegakure. After securing the black metallic arm bracers on his arms, he glanced over and picked up the shirt before his eye caught a quick glance at the black ANBU tattoo on his left arm; it seemed so long ago since he’d gotten the insignia placed upon him, but he figured that when you were a shinobi, time passed quicker than normal. He quickly put his black shirt over his black tank top as he looked over at his Kusanagi, reaching over and picking it up before standing up with the sheathed blade before he placed it on his lower back where it normally hung when he carried the blade on his person. After the blade was securely placed on his person, he glanced back over to his bed as he looked at his rebreather lying on the bed. He slowly reached for it and picked it up, glancing at the dark purple tint of the visor of the rebreather, seeing his eyes reflect off of the mask. He kept his gaze on it for a moment longer before he walked over towards his dresser as he opened a dresser drawer to reveal his other mask that he’d worn at the Festival, a black mask with a white skeletal outline covering the mouth with a curved gray ‘x’ shape over the left eye as well as a top half design of the ANBU logo on the forehead of the mask; unlike his rebreather, there was no dark tint to cover his eyes as there were just normal eye-holes for the mask. He looked at his rebreather before he picked up the black mask and looked at it, looking at each mask for a moment. He weighed which one to take; on one hand, having a rebreather would always be helpful if a situation caused for it to be needed, but on the other hand, with where he was going, he figured he wouldn’t need to worry about it. After a moment of silence, he placed his rebreather slowly into the dresser drawer and closed it, opting to take his other mask for his trip as he walked back over to his bed. Once he reached his bed again, he placed a black pouch on his person with his left hand while his right hand held his mask; the pouch held 3 shuriken and 6 kunai just in case. He did a mental check once more as he went over what he would need to take for the trip before looking down at his mask and bringing it up and putting it on, covering his face; the top half of the ANBU logo on the forehead of the mask was quickly hidden behind Kunisada’s black bangs. After securely placing the mask on, he picked up his backpack and slung it over his shoulders, with the bottom of the backpack being able to avoid coming into contact with the sheath of his Kusanagi. After confirming that he had everything he’d be needing for his trip, his left eye turned from its normal black hue to a crimson blood red hue, with scythe blades surrounding a circle that seemed to resemble that of a shuriken while the empty spaces that weren’t made up of the scythe blade designs had the endings of a shuriken with a black iris hidden within the circle as Kunisada’s Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan activated. A swirling vortex appeared suddenly as it began to distort Kunisada’s figure as he absorbed himself into the vortex until his entire body was engulfed by it, disappearing without a trace after it absorbed him fully. The vortex reappeared once more past the Amegakure Border, behind a tree as it quickly pushed out Kunisada’s disfigured form once more until he took solid form once more before the vortex quickly disappeared as if though it was never there. Kunisada’s Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan turned back to its normal black hue as he deactivated his eye and used his Sensory abilities to check around him to find that no one was around him so no one was near him; he’d chosen to exit his Kamui’s dimension this far out from the Amegakure Border and behind the tree to make sure no one had been able to see him. He readjusted his backpack slightly before he turned and disappeared into a blur as he used the Body Flicker technique to begin his journey: he was going to go visit the destroyed remains of Konohagakure.-

KunisadaUchiha: -A few hours passed as Kunisada switched between using his Body Flicker technique and running to make sure he didn’t tire himself out or use up his chakra too much. He’d taken this trip before when he was younger, so the trip by itself wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. The sky above him was riddled with colors as he saw the sun beginning to set, indicating that he needed to find a place to make camp for the night soon. Another half hour passed before the mixed colors in the sky quickly faded away to black as nightfall finally took over, making Kunisada halt in his place for the time as he found a spot to rest for the night; the area he’d chosen had been inside of a small forest, to which he figured would be just fine to make camp for the night. The moon was shining high above in the sky as Kunisada cut off some of the limbs from some trees with his Kusanagi, tossing them into a pile on the ground, keeping one off to the side to poke the fire with. After gathering enough wood, Kunisada sheathed his blade once more before his hands formed the seal of the Tiger as he used the Fire Release: Fireball Technique as he shot out a small fireball at the clump of wood in front of him, causing it to quickly ignite and cause the wood to crackle. Kunisada sat down in front of the fire, slinging his backpack over in front of him as he set his backpack next to him and grabbed the stick he’d kept off to the side and moved some of the sticks at the bottom to help spread the fire. After doing so, he tossed the stick in the fire, watching it quickly catch fire before he unzipped his backpack and pulled out a water bottle to set next to him. After placing the water next to him, he pulled out some wrapped up yakitori and an onigiri, placing the food in his lap and closing his backpack. He used his Sensory abilities to search the surrounding area and he found it to be deserted, to which he figured would be the case. He glanced up at the moon above him, gazing at the bright light it gave off as he thought to himself for a moment. He glanced back down at his food before he removed the wrapping from the yakitori, holding it by the small skewer that held the food together before he leaned forward and held it over the fire for a moment, letting it warm up. This was something he’d done with Kagato on their trip to go gather their Summons and they had taken up camp for the night. A moment passed as Kunisada pulled his food away from the fire with his right hand and reached up to move his mask away slightly, only revealing his mouth with his left hand. After his mask was moved, he brought the food up to his lips and began to eat his yakitori and onigiri, switching which food he was eating every so often after bites. After he’d eaten his food, he tossed the small stick into the fire before he reached for his water bottle and opened it as he drank some of the liquid to help wash down the food. After a few gulps of water, he closed the water bottle and quickly moved his mask back over his mouth, covering his face once more. He set the water bottle next to him again as he reached behind him and took the sheath that held his blade in it off of his lower back and kept it in his hand. He looked behind him as he noticed a tree wasn’t that far away from him before he grabbed his backpack with his free hand and moved over to the tree, with his Kusanagi in his right hand and his backpack in his left hand. As he made his way over to the tree, he put his backpack on once again, switching the hands that held his blade during the process before sitting down with his back against the tree and with his Kusanagi lying against his chest with his hand still holding it. He stared at the fire in front of him, watching the flames flicker and listening to the wood crack while the rest of the area was silent. He knew that he’d have to rest a bit so he could get back chakra that’d he’d used today during his traveling, so Kunisada lowered his head slightly before his eyes slowly closed, keeping his senses on alert in case he needed to wake up suddenly-

KunisadaUchiha: -A few hours passed as Kunisada’s eyes opened as he raised his head and using his Sensory skills to scan around him; the area around him was still as silent as it was when he had fallen asleep. The moon was still hanging high in the sky as he looked at the Kusanagi still in his hand and against his chest before looking over at where the fire was, noting that only small embers at the base of the fire were lit. Kunisada stood up, feeling the weight of his backpack follow him as he went over to the fire, kneeling down in front of it and taking his water bottle in his hand before he opened it and poured some water down onto the fire, hearing it sizzle as the flames finally died out. He put the cap back on the water bottle, closing it before swinging his backpack over his shoulder and putting the water bottle into the backpack. After doing so, he put the backpack back on fully before he reached behind him and placed his Kusanagi back to its original position on his lower back before Kunisada began to walk out of the forest he’d made camp for the night; he didn’t mean to spend the entire night there as he only needed a place to rest for a while. As he stepped out of the forest, he felt a calm and steady breeze flowing, causing his black bangs to move slightly as he continued to walk. He was still feeling the slight grogginess from sleep trying to weigh him down, so he decided to walk for a while towards his destination as opposed to running or Body Flickering for now. As he continued to walk, he kept his Sensory skills on alert, making sure nothing was nearby; he didn’t expect anyone to be on his path, but it didn’t hurt to check.  The last time he’d made this trip seemed so very long ago, right before his own Chunin Exams took place; a lot had changed since then and he found himself remembering the trip. The trip took about as long as it was probably going to take him as well, but Kunisada knew that his trip would’ve been over by now if he wished it to be. He wanted to take his time with this trip though, given how everything was going at the Village, he didn’t expect any problems to arise while he was gone and he was sure his team would be able to keep themselves pre-occupied; maybe they finished their homework he’d given them from their last meeting.-

KunisadaUchiha: -Hours passed as Kunisada continued his journey to the ruins of Konohagakure, with the sun rising eventually to replace the darkness of the night as a new day began. Shortly after the sunrise, Kunisada began his pace of interchanging between running and using the Body Flicker technique to reach his intended destination. At the rate he was going, he expected to be in the destroyed Village by at least nightfall. As he made his way towards the destroyed Village, he wondered if anyone had tried to go and visit the remnants of Konoha; even Sunagakure had been destroyed and abandoned, but Athena had made that her hideout a while back. The chances of someone visiting the ruins were very low, but it was still an idea that ran through his mind. As he continued his movements and as the hours passed, Kunisada found himself at the ruined gates of Konoha’s entrance, with the sun beginning to set behind him as he gazed at the destroyed structure. He stood there in silence before he slowly began to walk into the once standing Village, feeling around for any chakra signatures only to find none. His eyes searched the Village ruins as he slowly made his way through the main street, making sure to mind the remains of the Village buildings at his feet. The silence that plagued the Village was louder than he remembered, but he didn’t expect to see the Village resurrect itself or to see anyone staying here. He made his way over to where he last recalled the building he was led to last time was. He found the familiar rubble burying the entrance of it, moving it out of the way as he had done as a child. He recalled that the place that he’d been led to as a child was once called the Naka Shrine, but found that the instructions of how to get into the underground room was a bit harder as a child as the rubble was still on top of the dusty and tattered tatami mats that lay there, but he’d found them as a child after moving rubble pile among rubble pile. Once the rubble was removed Kunisada’s left eye went from its normal black hue into a dark crimson blood red as his Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan activated as he activated the seals required to remove the stone that blocked the entrance. Once he finished the required seals he moved the stone the blocked the entranceway before venturing underground. He stood in the darkness as Kunisada before his hands formed the hand-seals of the Ox, followed by the Rabbit and finished with the Monkey as he used the Lightning Cutter technique. After finishing the last seal, his left hand emitted a bright blue glow as he lifted his arm at eye level to use it as a makeshift torch. As his eyes scanned the area, he saw two unlit torch placements as he kept his eyes focused on the one on the left’s location before he deactivated the Lightning Cutter technique, making the room go dark once more. His hands formed the seal of the Tiger as he activated the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique as he shot a small fireball where his eyes were staring at in the darkness, quickly catching the torch placement light up half of the room. This gave Kunisada enough light to copy his actions on the right torch placement as the light fully illuminated the room. After doing so, he found himself facing the Stone Tablet. He began to read the Stone Tablet with his Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan, finding that some of the etches on the stone were still hidden from his vision, making Kunisada’s left eye narrow slightly before he blinked and his left eye turned from its dark crimson hue into an amethyst purple colored sclera and iris with a black ripple-pattern that began at the pupil of his eye and spread throughout the rest of his eye as he activated his Rinnegan. Once the eye was activated, he found himself seeing the Stone Tablet being completely revealed for him to read. He re-read the entire tablet as he disregarded the written message of Kaguya’s Infinite Tsukuyomi, knowing that Kaguya Otsutsuki had died long ago; he also read but disregarded the writings that gave away the secrets of his ancestor Madara Uchiha’s body, knowing that he too had died long ago. He read of the Sharingan’s power to control the tailed beasts as well as how to obtain the Mangenkyo Sharingan, but had already known how to obtain the eye as he had it as a child when he visited the Stone Tablet. He read about the Uchiha Clan’s secrets and saw something that made his eyes narrow as it stated that the Infinite Tsukuyomi would save the Uchiha, but he disregarded the message as well; given the events that happened during the Fourth Shinobi World War, he figured that the Infinite Tsukuyomi hadn’t worked out at the time. He came to two sentences on the tablet and began to read them, taking a moment to let the words sink in before he understood what they meant. He once again scanned the tablet, re-reading everything once more to find that he had read everything that was etched onto the Stone Tablet. He glanced up from the tablet as his eyes caught two Uchiha Clan symbols onto the wall above the Stone Tablet. His left eye turned back from its purple hue to its normal black hue as he reached his arm forward and touched the Uchiha symbol lightly, making him quietly stand in the room in his own thoughts. The Uchiha and the Hyuga, the two Clans that he was made up of, once had their home made here in Konohagakure, but now no remnants of either Clan resided here. Kunisada removed his hand from the wall before he made his way over towards the entrance where he walked in as he glanced back at the Stone Tablet and the Uchiha symbols before his hands formed the seals of the Tiger, then Ox, followed by Tiger and finished off with the Rat as he activated the Water Release: Water Bullet Technique as he shot out a small water bullet towards the lit torch on the left before he copied his actions and shot out a small water bullet towards the right torch. Both of the light sources were extinguished as soon as the water and fire collided before Kunisada quickly moved back upstairs to leave the secret room.-

KunisadaUchiha: -After moving out of the room, Kunisada moved everything back to where it once was, including the rubble pile, making it seem as though no one had been there at all. He made his way outside of the building, moving back the rubble that was there as well before he looked up at the sky to see that night had taken over once more, making Kunisada pause for a moment as he thought of what to do next. He glanced around the destroyed ruins of the Village, knowing that there would be no standing structures left to make a proper home for the night, but he figured he could find something to work for him. He pondered if he should travel a bit before choosing a resting spot, but decided against it as it would be him using more energy and chakra to get to a similar spot; after all, the ruins of Konoha were abandoned and secluded much like a forest would be at this time of night. The only problem he found himself thinking of is where he’d make his rest spot, not being familiar with the Village outline given that he wasn’t raised here before the fall of Konoha; that and he wasn’t sure what was barely structurally sound and what was just ready to collapse as soon as a breath fell upon it. He knew that both the Uchiha and the Hyuga Clans had their own compounds in the Village as they resided here before the desolation occurred, but that’d mean he’d need to go search and see if there were any ruins of either of them left. Kunisada began to walk around the Village, with the moon acting as a light source for him to see clearly as he walked through the remains of Konoha; he didn’t have the layout of the Village in his mind, but he was just doing some exploring at the moment. As he continued to look around, he took in some of the ruined structures; one in particular was a large building with a faded and half destroyed symbol of the Konohagakure Tower where the Hokage used to work. After walking around a bit more, he found an empty spot between two destroyed buildings, neither looked like they’d be in danger of collapsing or moving so he decided to take his Kusanagi off of his lower back and sling his backpack off of his shoulders before he sat against the outer wall of the building. He placed his Kusanagi against him, letting it rest on his right shoulder before he placed his backpack in front of him and opened it up before reaching inside and retrieving the half-empty water bottle he’d been drinking as well as pulling out two onigiri with his left hand, holding them in between his fingers. He placed the water bottle next to him with his right hand before reaching up and moving his mask off to the side to only expose his lips before he began to eat one of the onigiri he pulled out of his backpack. After a few bites, he took a sip of water and began to fall into a pattern of doing such; he didn’t feel any chakra signatures as he ate, so he didn’t have to worry about his meal being interrupted. He didn’t expect to feel any other chakra signatures during his trip, but it never hurt to be safe. After he’d eaten both of his onigiri and finished off his water, he quickly moved his mask back to cover his lips, covering his face entirely once more. After doing so, he put the empty water bottle in his backpack before zipping it closed once again, placing it next to him as he leaned his head back, having his right arm draped over his blade as he glanced up at the moon for a few moments. He knew that he’d have to rest for the night, so he lowered his gaze, kept a hand on his Kusanagi and his backpack before he closed his eyes while keeping his senses alert.-

KunisadaUchiha: -Hours passed before Kunisada’s eyes opened, quickly checking around him with his Sensory abilities to see if anyone was around him. As he expected, there were no other chakra sources to be found and Kunisada glanced over and saw his backpack and Kusanagi were still where he left them. He glanced up at the sky to see the moon lower than where it was when he last glanced at it before he slowly stood up and looked around him once more. He placed his Kusanagi back on his lower back, slipping his backpack on afterwards before thinking to himself for a moment. He read the Stone Tablet and that was his main goal for coming here and he figured if he needed to come back for anything, though for what he wouldn’t know for sure, he could easily come back. He walked over to where he was in the middle of what was left of the main street in Konoha, glancing over the ruins of the Village once more before his left eye turned into a dark crimson red color once more as his Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan activated before a swirling vortex appeared from his left eye as it quickly absorbed him whole, distorting his body until his entire body was absorbed into the vortex before the swirling vortex disappeared as if though it was never there. A few seconds later, the swirling vortex made itself known behind the same tree he had disappeared from a few days ago, the vortex spitting out his body in a distorted form until he took solid form once more. After Kunisada had left his Kamui’s Dimension, the vortex quickly died out as it vanished without a trace, afterwards causing Kunisada’s Eternal Mangenkyo Sharingan to deactivate to return to its natural black hue. He moved out from behind the tree as he looked at the Amegakure Border before disappearing into a blur as he Body Flickered towards his home; by now the sun had come out, but the storm clouds that hovered over Amegakure hid the sun from the Village and Kunisada decided to go home and rest for a while longer, maybe he’d find something to do later on during the day.-
